  • 1993 TRW Corporation & California State Department Justice

In 1994 Envirotech teamed up with the the TRW Corporation on the State of California, Department of Justice SAIN project to deliver network training to the managers in the Bureau of Forensic Services (BFS) on the design, and management of local and wide area networks.  As a relatively new technology within the State of California, these members needed to be trained on the complexities and relationships in electronic information, the physical infrastructure of its delivery and routing (OSI Model), and the management issues arising from enterprise network expectations and requirements.  Building network policies, streamlining user platforms, and building monitoring systems to insure performance and security requirements, were the focus of the three-week course. The four-section course included lectures on policies and guidelines related to

    • Data-centers, physical nodes, and protocols

    • Protocol transfer

  • 1993 Centrifuge Research

    • 1993 brought Envirotech the opportunity to contribute to Dr. Uwe Shaflinger's development in centrifuge design at the Institute of Fluid Dynamics & Heat Transfer at the
      Technical University Wien.
Envirotech Constructed a digital image studio to record and track particle behavior during sedimentation within a centrifuge with a variety of chamber shapes. The studio included three axis mounted digital cameras, a strobe light, and a timing mechanism to synchronize chamber location with image plane.   Fascinating research was conducted as different shaped centrifuge chambers effected multi-shaped particles of different sizes.
