Our primary focus of business is in the evaluation and monitoring of
network resources and services. Additionally, NetQA provides proactive
support services, consulting and application development. Our network
services are constructed within TCP/IP protocol networks, or IP networks
for short. IP networks are the types of networks that predominate
throughout the internet. Our core services can be defined in five major
areas:

SNMP Port Monitoring Our monitoring service supports SNMP (v1.&v2.) compatible devices.
Including:
- Network server's
- SNMP supported Hubs
- UPS's (power supplies)
- Hubs
- Ethernet switches
- routers
- Communication Server ports
Deliverables:
- We produce a comprehensive report on individual port statistics. The
report can be viewed anytime in real-time from our web-site. The report
will show daily, weekly, monthly, and annual statistics. Our standard
reporting bundle will support any SNMP compatible device.
- Additional customized MIB, RMON, and SNMP sampling and analysis may be
developed upon request. We have custom solutions that can monitor your IPX
segments and servers on Novell networks, or monitor systems from other
non-IP networks

IP Presence monitoring
We monitor any valid IP address or host name, from our (NOC) Network
Operations Center, 24 hours a day. Our node management system has an
integrated notification system.
- We use standard internet ICMP services.
- Our NOC tests your IP address or hostname every 300 seconds.
If your address or hostname is undetected for 5 consecutive tests,
notification is implemented.
- Cyberkinetics’ redundant backbone will monitor your IP device from
multiple perspectives.
Along with the presence monitoring are several customized options
for notification and reporting. When a loss of presence of your IP
address is detected from our NOC an entry is made into our monitoring log and reports
are provided on a quarterly basis upon request.
